Free for jails and detention facilities
Verify every bond. Release with confidence.
Appear by Vonda puts every bail bond submission on one page: the defendant, every bond and its documents, and the agency standing behind it. Every decision takes your facility’s PIN, and every act is recorded with a timestamp.
You know this shift.
It’s 4:10 AM, and a bond comes off the fax. Is it real? Is it current? You count the pages of the packet, match the power of attorney, and call the agency to confirm — then call again when nobody picks up.
You’re the last check before someone walks out. A fax can’t tell you it’s still good.
How it works
The same night, on Appear. No fax, no callbacks.
Marcus Reed was booked into Summit Valley Detention Center, and Ondrevel Bail Bonds posted his bonds on Vonda. By the time the submission reaches your desk, his sister has applied, paid and signed, and the agency has reviewed and approved it. Every decision from here takes your facility’s own PIN.
- 1.0
One email, one link
When Ondrevel Bail Bonds sends Marcus’s paperwork, your desk gets one email: his name, both bond numbers, the agency that submitted them and a single secure link. No fax, no attachments, no pages to count.
- 2.0
Everything on one page
Open it, and the whole submission is in front of you: Marcus and his booking, one card per bond with its court, case number, charges and power of attorney, each bond’s documents inside its card, and the agency and agent standing behind it. Nothing to collate, nothing to match up by hand.
- 3.0
Accept, with your PIN
Accepting is your facility’s definitive yes, and it takes your facility’s own PIN. Only the assigned agent hears about it, so the family doesn’t head to the jail before he’s ready to walk out.
- 4.0
Mark him released
When Marcus walks out, mark him released, again with your PIN. The agent and the family are notified at once. No callbacks.
- 5.0
Or reject it, with a reason
Something off? Reject the submission with your PIN and pick a reason, like a bail amount that doesn’t match the court record or a defendant with a hold. The agent is told why. Suspected fraud goes straight to Vonda, and only the reason reaches the agency.
- 6.0
Every act on the record
Every act lands on the page’s submission record with a timestamp, attributed to your facility. The next shift sees at a glance whether somebody already handled it. And if the agency withdraws a submission, the page reads Void right away.
Have a question before your first submission arrives?
Security
Built for the last check before release.
Appear is the source of truth for a bond submission, and every decision on it belongs to your facility.
Your PIN on every decision
Accepting, marking released and rejecting each take your facility’s 6-digit PIN. Vonda issues it to your facility, it never appears on an agency’s screen, and repeated wrong guesses trigger a cooldown.
A timestamped record
Every act is recorded on the submission with a timestamp and attributed to your facility, never to a personal login. The next shift can see what’s already been handled.
Fraud goes straight to Vonda
Reject with Suspected fraud and Vonda is alerted directly. What you write in a fraud report goes to Vonda alone: the agency sees only the reason, and it never appears on the page.
The page is the source of truth
If the agency withdraws a submission, the page reads Void right away. If the paper in your hand doesn’t match the page, don’t release.
No accounts, no installs
Nothing to install, no logins to manage, no passwords to reset. To act on a submission, all your staff needs is your facility’s PIN.
Free for facilities
Appear is free for jails and detention facilities. The agencies that run on Vonda send their submissions through it.
Questions, answered.
What does Appear cost?
Nothing. Appear is free for jails and detention facilities.
Do we need an account?
No. There are no accounts, logins or installs. Each submission arrives by email as one secure link, and every decision on it takes your facility’s PIN.
How do submissions reach us?
From the bail bond agencies that run on Vonda. When an agency sends a submission to your facility, your desk gets one email with the link to it.
What is the PIN, and who holds it?
A 6-digit code that belongs to your facility. Vonda issues it to your facility, and it’s never shown to agencies. Accepting, marking released and rejecting each require it, so share it with the staff who make release decisions. Need it changed? Contact us.
What if something looks wrong?
Reject the submission with a reason, like a bail amount that doesn’t match the court record or a defendant with a hold, and the agent is told why. If you suspect fraud, choose Suspected fraud: Vonda is alerted directly, and what you write goes to Vonda alone, never to the agency or onto the page. And if the page reads Void, the agency has withdrawn the submission, so don’t release on it.
Can the agencies we work with start using it?
Yes. Appear comes with Vonda, so every agency that runs on Vonda sends through it. Have them contact us, or point them to Vonda for agencies.
